Do What Makes You Happy

Things I love to do, which make me feel good & make me happy:

  1. Wear nice lingerie
  2. Moisturise my body so that my skin is smooth, supple and cared-for
  3. My morning exercises
  4. Keeping myself well-groomed: body, hair, nails, teeth
  5. Dancing
  6. Reading so as to broaden my mind
  7. Learning new things
  8. Choosing to love my body the way it is
  9. Sex
  10. Lying in the dark with a candle & some calming music
  11. Dressing nicely & wearing feminine, elegant clothes
  12. Not feeling guilty when I eat
  13. Spending time with my sisters & Mum
  14. Spending time with my friends (even though I think I won’t have a good time)
  15. Doing exercise ‘just because’, and not with a focus on losing weight
  16. Choosing to feel happy in my own skin
  17. Eating foods that nourish me
  18. Letting go, enjoying the moment and feeling nourished when eating the foods I really want in that moment
  19. Feeling free around food
  20. Exercise
  21. Early nights & 8 hours sleep
  22. Writing cards & letters to the people I care about
  23. Going to the theatre
  24. Going swimming
  25. Allowing myself to feel hungry before eating (this makes me feel very calm)
  26. Choosing to be positive
  27. Achieving a goal (no matter how small – in fact, these can be the most satisfying)
  28. Eating until I am satisfied, as opposed to feeling full or left wanting more
